About the Ride

In 1999, Vermont CARES held the first annual Champ Ride. The ride was an immediate hit with riders due to the beautiful Vermont scenery and excellent support crews helping along the way. 

We ask that Riders raise at least $150 to support Vermont CARES’ work, and the combined efforts of so many volunteers, Riders, and sponsors means this is our biggest event of the year.  Our goal for 2012 is to raise $30,000 so we can support HIV/AIDS programming across the state.  This is VERY achievable if you ride with us, and help bring a team of your friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors! 

Save The Date!

The 2012 Champ Ride has been scheduled for June 9, 2012, with a NEW starting site in Burlington, VT.  Our launch and return picnic site this coming year will be Oakledge Park in Burlington. 

We will post updated information about this event as we refine details, as well as route maps, route descriptions, and preparatory details.  It’s always a fun event, and we hope to see you there.
