It is imperative that Vermonters recognize that HIV/AIDS is here and it is important to be educated about the behaviors that could put them at risk of contracting the disease. HIV and AIDS are a part of many Vermonters' lives, and although Vermont is a low prevalence state, there are new positives every year.
